Biografie

Mathis Reinhardt was born in Filderstadt in 1978. From 2003 until 2007, he studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. He then joined the ensemble of the Deutsche Theater in Berlin, where he stayed until 2009. This was followed by engagements at the Schauspiel Frankfurt (until 2013) and the Schauspiel Leipzig (until 2016). With the start of the season 2016/2017, he became a company player at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden.

In addition to his career as a stage actor, Reinhardt began to appear in TV productions from 2007 on. He was seen in the made-for-TV drama "Die Versöhnung" (2007) and also guest-starred on shows like "Im Namen des Gesetzes", "Ein Fall für zwei", "SOKO Leipzig", and in the "Tatort" entry "Niedere Instinkte" (2015)..

On the big screen, he played a federal police detective in the drama "Im Labyrinth des Schweigens" (2014). Reinhardt got his first leading role in a theatrical release with "Ein Weg", in which he and co-star Mike Hoffmann play a gay couple whose relationship hits on hard times.
