Biography
Andreas Thiel was born in Duesseldorf in 1957. After his secondary schooling and studies at the Academy for Television & Film in Munich (HFF/M), he worked as an assistant director and co-author for Bernd Schadewald. Having directed TV productions and smaller projects, "Kismet" is his first feature-length film. His other films include: "Der Verfuehrer" (1991), "Scheidungsgericht"(TV series, 1994), "Aus heiterem Himmel" (TV series, 1995), and "Ein Fall fuer Zwei" (TV, 1995).
