Summary
Zoro is bright and full of ideas, especially when it comes to getting his hands on money without following the law. The 13-year-old fled Afghanistan with his mother and sister and has been living in Liebigheim in Swabia ever since, while his father is still stuck in a reception camp in Hungary. When Zoro realizes that the local church boys' choir under the direction of the strict Ms. Lehmann will take part in a singing competition in Hungary, he sees a chance to finally reunite his family. He decides to join the choir in order to reach his father. At first Ms. Lehmann is not particularly enthusiastic about the newcomer, as he seems to be the complete opposite of the more conformist choirboys. Soon, however, Zoro is no longer concerned only with his original plan: he makes new friends in the group and develops an unexpected passion for singing, for which he also shows great talent. And Ms. Lehmann suddenly sees the newest choir member in a new light...
