Summary
For many years, Rainer Voss was one of Germany's top investment bankers. In Marc Bauder's documentary feature the insider provides insights into the financial business that has often been criticized and yet has remained inscrutable to most people. In articulate and comprehensible ways Voss renders the principles and mechanisms of the international financial markets transparent. He explains everyday procedures that are sometimes mandatory but at other times turn manipulatory. He illustrates what drives "financial sharks", how and why greed and unscrupulousness usually win, why financial crises are inevitable and why it is always the small retail investors who lose in the end.
