Summary
Me & Kaminski
The tragicomedy "Me & Kaminski", based on Daniel Kehlmann’s eponymous novel, sees director Wolfgang Becker reunited with his star from "Good Bye, Lenin!", Daniel Brühl, who plays a vain, but unsuccessful arts journalist Sebastian Zöllner who intends to write a biography about Manuel Kaminski. Kaminski caused a sensation in the art world as a blind painter, but has since fallen somewhat into obscurity.
Sebastian visits the old man in his isolated home and promises to take him to see his childhood sweetheart just once more – little does the young journalist know that the crafty old man has his own agenda...
