Manuel Rubey, born March 26, 1979, in Vienna, was one of the founding members of a political satire group in the mid-1990s that became the pop group "Mondscheiner" in 2002. In 2006, the band, whose singer is Rubey, made their breakthrough in Austria with the hit single "Das was wir sind". Furthermore, Rubey, who attended classical actor"s training at Vienna"s "Schauspielschule Krauss", appeared in minor roles in movies, on TV, and on stage. In 2007, Rubey played his first leading role in "Falco – Verdammt, wir leben noch!", a biopic about the pop star who had died in 1998.
