Nils Hohenhövel
Nils Hohenhövel was born in Münster on 11th of October 1995. He appeared on stage at the Junges Theater Münster already as a teenager (2009-2012) and in 2014, he started studying acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig. As a student he became a studio member at the Schauspiel Köln, playing lead roles among others in "Arsenic and Old Lace" and " The Robber Hotzenplotz" (both 2017). He also appeared in a number of usually smaller roles in TV and feature films, such as in the comedy "Männertag" (2015) and in Lars Kraume's "Das schweigende Klassenzimmer"("The Silent Revolution", 2018). His first lead role in a feature film was in Eibe Maleen Krebs' "Draußen in meinem Kopf" (2018) in which he played the caretaker of a young man suffering from muscular dystrophy. The film won the Prize of the Youth Jury at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis and had its theatrical release in Germany in April 2018.
