Natalie Avelon was born March 29, 1980, in Wroclaw in Poland and grew up in Ettlingen in Germany. She attended actor"s training and singing lessons in Munich and Berlin and made her movie debut in a minor part in Michael "Bully" Herbig"s Karl May parody "Der Schuh des Manitu" ("Manitou"s Shoe"). She then played minor parts in TV series such as "Der Bulle von Tölz" and "Ein Fall für zwei". In 2007, Avelon starred in her first leading role as Uschi Obermaier, the icon of the 1968 movement, in Achim Bornhak"s film biography "Das wilde Leben" ("8 Miles High").
