Biography
Mischka Popp studied at the Academy of Music and Theater in Hanover. During the 1960s, she worked at various theaters in Germany and Switzerland and has been working for radio and television since the early 1970s. In 1983, she founded the production company Pilotfilm. Her award-winning films include: "Vom Flachlegen und Aufstehen" (1986), "Potemkinsche Stadt" (1986), "Giftzwerge" (1990), "Meine Schuhe halten ewig" (1991), "Herzfeuer" (1993), "Unten - Gespraeche mit Armen" (1995), "Murks" (1995), "Koerper" (1995), "Schotten dicht - Ein Beitrag zur Sicherheit" (1996), "Malen wie Mord und Totschlag" (1996), "Jonny der Heizer - Das verkaufte Lachen" (1997), "Kopfleuchten" (1998), "Higgs - Die Jagd nach den Unsichtbaren" (2000), and "Eye Song" ("Augenlied", 2003).
