Biography
Marina Frenk was born in Kischinau, Moldova in 1986 and has been living in Germany since 1993. From 2005 to 2008, she studied acting at the Folkwang drama school in Essen. She acted in stage productions at the Grillo theatre, Essen and the Schauspielhaus in Bochum. In 2009, she received the Bochum Theatre Award for Newcomers. In the 2011/2012 season, she was part of the ensemble of the Centraltheater, Leipzig, and subsequently joined the ensemble of the Schauspiel in Cologne. In 2011, Marina Frenk made her screen debut in Jessica Krummacher's "Totem".
