Lore Richter was born in 1985. From 2001 until 2004, she studied acting at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock. During that time, she got her first professional engagement at the Carrousel Theater (2002-2004) in Berlin. After finishing her training, she was a company player at the Thalia Theater Halle (2004-2006), the Volksbühne in Berlin (2007/2008) and the Schauspiel Liepzig (until 2011).
Lore Richter made her screen debut with a supporting role in the TV production "Sklaven und Herren". She went on to guest-star in several TV series, including "SOKO Leipzig", "In aller Freundschaft" and "Inga Lindström".
Following a minor part in "Papa Gold" (2011), Richter joined the ensemble of "Schwestern" (2013), which was released in December 2013, and played a social worker in "Hannas Reise". She then got her first leading screen role in the romantic comedy "Dear Courtney".
