Biography
Christoph Stark was born in 1965 in Esslingen. After working in London on various music videos and advertising spots, he studied at the Academy for Television & Film (HFF/M) in Munich. In addition to directing, he is also active in screenwriting and editing. He wrote two screenplays for the television series "Die Feuerengel" (1996/1997) as well as for the feature film "Der Baer ist los!" (1998). Together with Alex Berner, he edited the trailers for numerous documentary and feature films, including the "House of Spirits" and "Maybe - Maybe Not". His films as a director include: "In the Ghetto" (1999), "Das suendige Maedchen" (TV, 2001) and Julietta (2001). After many more works for television his film "Tabu – Es ist die Seele ein Fremdes auf Erden" about Georg and Grete Trakl opened in theatres in May 2012
