Anna Schudt made her screen debut in a bit part in Herbert Achternbusch"s "Ab nach Tibet" (1994), but started to work frequently in film and TV ten years later. She appeared in Christian Petzold"s "Gespenster" (2005), Alain Gsponer"s "Rose" (2005) and Hans Steinbichler"s "Winterreise" (2006), as well as in TV productions like "Emilia" (2004) and Matti Geschonneck"s "Die Nachrichten" (2005). She starred in the crime drama "Windland" (2007) opposite Joachim Król, and also played a lead in Dietmar Klein"s "Mama arbeitet wieder" (2008).
She also guest-starred in several TV series, and also was a cast member for one season of "Der Kriminalist" (2006/2007). She eventually left the series, since she wanted to avoid being pigeonholed into a certain type of role. In 2010, she was joint lead with Devid Striesow and Nicolette Krebitz in Stefan Kornatz" acclaimed TV drama "Verhältnisse". The same year, she returned to the big screen in "Der Mann, der über Autos sprang", which was released in 2011.
