Film synopsis: Priggish noodle factory owner Lampe falls for a telephone prank, which leads him to believe that the Prince of Holsten-Bölau is going to pay his company a visit. Realizing too late that he's a victim of April Fool′s Day, and afraid to be the subject of further mockery, Lampe hires an actor to stand in for the prince. But when the real prince unexpectedly shows up at the factory as well, con-man and crowned are promptly mistaken for each other. And since the rudely treated royal visitor also happens to fall in love with young secretary Friedl, even more turbulent complications arise.
