Summary

Documentary about the methods of the so-called Human Resource Management the aim of which is to optimize the efficiency of employees. The director visits architects, programmers, managers and business leaders who dedicate themselves to the task of getting the maximum out of people with minimum costs. The film shows them at their work leaving out any voice-over. Thereby it displays the mechanisms that reduce humans to mere material and reveals the way of thinking of corporate governments whose sole interests are profit maximisation, rationalisation and ever increasing efficiency.
