Summary

Maren is struggling with puberty when her single mother tells her that her biological father has been living as a woman for some years now. Secretly, she travels to a suburban idyll in North Rhine-Westphalia in order to find him. There she meets Sophia, who is just as hormonally challenged and pubescent like herself – and would much rather like to be her mother. After a rocky start Maren, at least for a moment, gets what she always wanted: a normal family.
