Based on three different artists, the documentary shows the everyday life of people whose job is to spread the fun. The Cologne entertainer Dieter, the home rocker Mambo Kurt, playing hard rock songs on an organ, and Corina, the graduate clown and performance artist. All three combine the pleasure of entertaining. This does not seem to be just a profession, but a vocation to which the protagonists subordinate everything. So the movie is not about three solo entertainers, but about lived and non-lived dreams and hopes, fears, loneliness and the search for identity.
