Summary
The 17-year-old student Sina Wolf has an affair with her teacher Helmut Fichte and meets him secretly at a lake in the forest. Her jealous friend Michael finds out about the affair and tells a classmate about it, who is about to fail they school year and decides to clackmail Fichte. Sina then lures Michael to the forest lake and kills him with a stone. She then tells the police that she was attacked by a rapist, who killed Michael when he came to her rescue. Detective inspector Finke doubts her statement and puts her under observation. The early directorial work of Wolfgang Petersen with the young Nastassja Kinski in the lead role is one of the most legendary and most repeated episodes of the popular German crime series "Tatort".
