Summary
We are all humans – a moving and visually impressive 'heimat' film that gives sex workers a voice and reveals the seething abyss under the surface of the German provincial idyll, without losing its belief in humanity.

Note:
In March 2021, the editorial department "STRG_F" of the public broadcaster NDR, which had co-produced the film, published research on "Lovemobil": the film was staged for long stretches, the majority of the protagonists were played by amateur actors, without this being made clear by the director in any way. Festivals that had shown the film and where it had won prizes had also not been informed about this.
NDR distanced itself from the film. A nomination for the Grimme Prize was withdrawn by the responsible commission. Elke Lehrenkrauss returned the German Documentary Film Award 2020.
