Summary
In her very personal documentary, filmmaker Sabine Marina adresses multiple sclerosis (MS), a disease she is suffering from herself. After the shock of the initial diagnosis, she decides to deal productively with her illness. During the film, she meets other MS patients who all have their own way of living with the disease. For instance, Katharina, who keeps her sickness secret since she is afraid of jeopardizing her singing career. Another case is therapist Sonja Wierk, who improved physical therapy, was eventually able to leave the wheelchair and now helps other patients. And then there is married couple Peter and Silke, who are both diagnosed with MS and support each other in every possible way. Her encounters with these people give Marina the courage to confront her illness with a positive attitude.
