I′m an Elephant, Madame
Famous theatre director Peter Zadek′s feature film debut tells the story of a pupil of a Bremen grammar school who tries to change and to democratize his school that is structured in an authoritarian style. The film is centred on the school boy Rüll who passionately opposes the current order. Again and again, he comes up with new actions to provoke his environment. His personal protest movement culminates in smearing a swastika on a school wall. When Rüll is threatened to be expelled from school, his schoolmates plan to declare their solidarity with him.
