Summary
The film is a contemporary document and portrait of a small group of individuals in their creative processes. The people portrayed give us insight into their lives and perspectives. They come from the fields of art, music, film and fashion design. We participate in their lives and accompany them between success and resistance, their desires and needs.
The film was produced over the course of ten years in New York City and Berlin. We become eye witnesses to the events of the early 1990s to the present day. The film allows us to participate in the creative process and careers of the protagonists in two metropolises. In the end, everything revolves around the figurative question of beauty. As a result, the fundamental values of truth, love and simplicity are revealed as the three constants in the search for beauty. Be it the skater who crashes down flights of stairs; the painter who stands before a canvas; or the fashion designer who creates patterns.
