Summary
The film tells the story of an unconventional father-son relationship. Although everybody thinks that his son is mentally handicapped, Yoram refuses to send him off to an asylum. Instead, he sends him to Tel Aviv where Gideon with is healing powers is supposed to help the boy. As a teenager, the son eventually takes over the care of his old father. I doing so, he finds out that his father had been a famous poet. He is fascinated by his father’s poems and thus discovers the realm of language for himself.
