Summary
Florian, a 25-year-old from Darmstadt, dropped out of school because he felt bored and had a problem with authority. Hanil from Aachen was expelled for ditching class and consuming marihuana, and 21-year-old Lena left school in the ninth grade after being mobbed by her classmates. Now, they all are part of an extraordinary graduation class at the Schule für Erwachsenenbildung (SFE) in Berlin. Founded in 1973, the SFE offers an alternative learning route for students. There are neither grades nor principals, and the students can actively decide on the school's policy.
