Summary
Berlin Ecke Bundesplatz - Happy Family
Gerhard Rehbein is a station master on the underground, his wife Helga a bubbly and practical propagandist and housewife. Their son, Thomas, born in 1967, loves to sit in his winged-back chair and ponder how to make the best of his life. He starts studying at the age of 30. At 45, he is still unemployed, his future open and uncertain. His mother has always worried about her son: "Sometimes, he's a little bit of a dreamer. But at some point he has to start earning his living."
