At the height of the 'New German Wave' music genre this film was released, borrowing its German title from a successful pop song by the singer Markus. In the film Markus plays the young Robby, who is persuaded by his classmate Tina, played by pop star Nena, to run away with her. The thing Robby, who is madly in love with Tina, doesn't know yet: Tina wants to find Tino, who works at the carnival and represents the epitome of masculinity in Tina's eyes. But on the adventurous journey she slowly begins to see the gentle Robby with different eyes.
