Two womenfolk: Esther, presenter of the talkshow "Extreme", and Sophie, her best friend and assistant director on the programme. Esther gets her sex in every position and situation. Sophie is on the romantic and excessive quest for the big love affair.

But the two women′s mad adventures of the heart are subject to the hardly encouraging influence of the four elements. Hermann falls from the airy heights of a 190-metre high transmitter tower during a tete à tete with Sophie. Juergen is swallowed up during a wild affair in a hay barn. The life of the slippery film producer Roland ends in the refrigerator which has dropped into the Rhein, and a madman dies in the flames of his burning car.
