A Sacrifice 

After separating from his wife, American social psychologist Ben Monroe moves to Berlin to continue his research into collectivism and cults and to prepare a new book. His old friend Max, who is a policeman, and his partner Nina take him to a crime scene where a group of people have apparently committed a ritual suicide. In the midst of the complex investigation into a mysterious cult that may be behind this story, Ben's daughter Mazzy comes to visit him in Berlin. The teenager gets involved with the charming young Martin and lets him show her the capital's underground party scene. Martin also introduces the girl to an NGO he is involved with - but his intentions are not quite as romantic as Mazzy thinks.
