Bad Director
Adapted from Oskar Roehler's novel "Selbstverfickung", the story revolves around Gregor Samsa, an aging director approaching sixty whose heyday is a distant memory. Frustration simmers within him as he grapples with the decline of his career, and he resorts to alcohol, visits to brothels, and aimless wanderings in an attempt to suppress it. His disdain for the film industry frequently surfaces, especially when his intoxication at the German Film Awards leads to impassioned rants about his peers. However, a glimmer of hope appears when he meets Grete, who immediately captivates him. Gregor recognizes her as his new muse, and she arrives at a crucial time - just as filming is about to begin on his next movie. Things could be looking up, if it weren't for his general grumpiness, which proves to be a nuisance to everyone involved, from the lead actors Konstanze and Fabian to his assistant director and producer.
