Toubab
Freshly released from prison, Babtou is handcuffed again by law enforcement officers on the very evening of his welcome party, where everything goes thoroughly wrong. This time, however, the consequences could hardly be more drastic, because although he was born in Germany and his home is Frankfurt, Babtou is to be deported to Senegal. He only knows Senegal from his father's stories, and so Babtou and his buddy Dennis want to prevent the deportation at all costs - which only seems possible by entering into a marriage. As a macho man, however, Babtou has bad cards with the women in the neighborhood, so Dennis soon has to serve as a spouse instead. The word toubab, to which the name Babtou alludes, is a common term used for white Europeans in Central and West Africa.
