Zwischen uns die Mauer

Anna from West Germany and Philipp from East Berlin get to know each other and fall in love at a church youth meeting in East Germany in 1984. When Anna returns home, the only thing left for them to do is communicate via letters until Anna is able to visit Philipp again and the couple begins to plan a future together. In order for the latter to become a reality, they start planning Philipp's escape from the East. This turns out to be doubly difficult when they are targeted by the Stasi on the one hand and Anna's parents on the other hand, who get wind of the relationship and are very much against it. Can the love of the two teenagers overcome these obstacles?
