Hanne

Personal secretary Hanne retires after many years of working for her company. But what for many is the start of a new phase in her life, may seem to have a completely different outcome for Hanne: During a routine examination, abnormalities in her blood count are detected, however, the exact test results are not expected to be available until a few days later. Thus Hanne has to get through a weekend full of uncertainty and decides - without telling anyone - to spend two days in a hotel in a different city. Osscillating between great fear and a thirst for adventure, she meanders through the day and has quite unexpected encounters. Among others, she befriends the fun-loving lingerie saleswoman Uli, and runs into her childhood sweetheart Heiner. When she learns that she is going to be a grandmother, she finally realizes that one should grab life with both hands and enjoy every day to the fullest...
