Double Trouble and the Magical Mirror

Best friends Emil and Frodo are ten years old and practically inseparable. One day something extraordinary happens: In a chamber of mirrors at the fun fair, the boys’ mirror images suddenly come to life and step out of the mirror! At first, Emil and Frido believe this to be a great thing as their doppelgängers are good at everything the friends aren’t and they finally seem to have found a way to meet their parents’ expectations of them. However, things get difficult fairly quickly once the doppelgängers don’t feel like acting as the "real" boys string puppets anymore and start to pursue their own goals. Emil and Frido have no choice: they need to get rid of their reflections. The question though is how?
