Xari Wimbauer was born on 9 February 2006. He got his first role in Marcus H. Rosenmüller's children's film "Unheimlich perfekte Freunde" ("Double Trouble and the Magical Mirror"), which was shot in 2017/2018 and released in 2019; Wimbauer played a classmate of the two main characters. Also in 2019 director Christian Lerch cast him in the leading role of "Das Glaszimmer", as an eleven-year-old, who in 1945 shortly before the end of the war falls under the spell of Nazi propaganda.
