Ivo once had a career as a pro footballer ahead of him. Yet these times are long gone: Ivo served a prison sentence, and he no longer has any interest in football. That is until he meets Lukas, a young player with enormous talent who reminds Ivo of himself. Ivo decides to help Lukas pursue his dream of a professional career. Moreover, he falls in love with Lukas' mother Vera. But Ivo's criminal past catches up with him in the form of mobster Dejan. Wanting to protect Lukas and Vera, Ivo agrees to a deal, not knowing that Dejan's scheme also involves Lukas.
