Swiss-born Anuk Steffen's acting career began when she answered a casting call for the screen adaptation of the famous children's book "Heidi" – and was eventually chosen from over 500 kids who auditioned for the title role. The film, directed by Alain Gsponer, was released in Germany in December 2015.
