Biography
The producer, screenwriter and director’s debut short film, "When I Was a Boy", premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1993. His short film "Nonnie & Alex" also first screened at Sundance where it received an Honourable Mention. He made his feature film debut in 2001 with "In the Bedroom" which received Oscar nominations in five categories including Best Film. His next feature, "Little Children", was nominated for three Oscars and three Golden Globes. As an actor, he has appeared in films including "Ruby in Paradise" by Victor Nunez and "Eyes Wide Shut" by Stanley Kubrick.
