Biography
Thorsten Wettcke was born in 1974. His film career began quite early, with his first short films dating back to 1993. In 1995, he broke off his film studies in Mainz to become a scriptwriter for Wueste Filmproduktion in Hamburg. Since then, he has directed many, and acted in quite a few, of his own films, including: "Nightmare on Danziger Street" (short, 1993), "Froehlicher Suizid" (short, 1994), "Gotthold und Gotthilf" (short, 1994), "Degeneration X" (1995) which received several prizes and considerable recognition, "Digital Dope", "Knut", and "Anschlag" (shorts, 1996) and "Die Rosenfalle" (short, 1997).
