Biography
Phan Dang Di, born in Nghe An, Vietnam in 1976, is a screenwriter and director. After graduating from Hanoi University of Cinema and Theatre he has worked as an independent filmmaker and currently teaches at the Hanoi National University. His feature debut "Bi, dung so!" ("Don't Be Afraid, Bi", 2010) won a number of international prizes. He belongs to the new wave of Vietnamese filmmakers.
