Biography

Nico Marischka was born on June 15, 2007, in Munich to journalist and radio presenter Juliette Marischka. Acting is in his blood, as several generations of his family have worked in the film industry: His grandmother is the actress Ingeborg Schöner, his grandfather was the actor, director, and screenwriter Georg Marischka (whose parents and grandparents were in the business as well), and his aunt Nicole Marischka is another actor.

Nico Marischka made his on-screen debut in 2015 with a supporting role in "Die Hebamme 2" (2015), playing the son of two main characters. In the following years, he appeared in supporting roles in television series and films, including "Inga Lindström - Willkommen im Leben" (2016), "Mord in bester Gesellschaft - Winters letzter Fall" (2017), and "Dr. Klein" (2017). In the critically acclaimed television film "Rufmord" (2018), he had an important role as a student whose teacher becomes a victim of a defamation campaign.

His first role in a feature film was in the adventure film "Lassie - Eine abenteuerliche Reise" ("Lassie Come Home", 2020) where he portrayed Florian, the owner and best friend of the titular collie. After further supporting roles in television, Marischka reprised his role as Flo in "Lassie - Ein neues Abenteuer" ("Lassie - A New Adventure", 2023).
