Naomi Achternbusch, daughter of filmmaker Herbert Achternbusch, was born in 1994. Her first, small role was as a three-year-old in "Picasso in München" (1997) directed by her father. Five years later, she starred in the "Das Klatschen der einen Hand" (2002) alongside her father who was also directing. From 2010 to 2014, she was a member of Münchner Kammerspiele's youth club. In 2015, she had a bit part in Jakob Lass's "Tiger Girl" (released in 2017). For Jakob's brother Tom Lass she played the female lead (alongside Tom) in the award-winning love story "Blind & Hässlich" (2015-17) as a runaway who quit school and tries to pass herself off as blind, and who falls in love with a man who considers himself ugly.
