Biography
Myriam Pucitta was born in Berne in 1964 and studied at the Academy of Arts in Florence from 1984 to 1988. She attended the "Zelig" Film School in Bolzano from 1989 to 1991 before beginning studies in documentary filmmaking at the Academy for Television & Film (HFF/M) in Munich in 1991. She has lectured in photography since 1993 and founded her own production company, A piedi nudi - Barfuss Filmproduktion, with cameraman Thomas Bresinsky in 1996. Her films include: "Daniela"(TV, 1990), "Tod auf der Strasse"" (TV, 1991), "Day Top" (TV, 1992), "Zeit der Liebe" (TV, 1993), "Die Probanden" (1994), "Man raubt mit den Augen/Die letzten Reiter" (TV, 1995) and her graduation film and first feature "If You Don"t Want Me" (Wenn Du mich nicht willst, 1998).
