Biography

Maria Knilli was born in 1959 in Graz/Austria. After studying at the Academy of Television & Film (HFF/M) in Munich from 1979-1983, she worked in numerous theaters as well as for television and film. A selection of her films include: "Basisarbeit" (short documentary, 1980), the award-winning "Spaetvorstellung" (1982), "Lieber Karl" (1984), "Wer hat Angst vor Kommissar Maigret" (TV, 1985), and "Follow Me" (1988), among others.
