Lucie Heinze was born in Oschatz in 1988. From 2008 until 2012, she studied acting at the renowned Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" in Berlin. In 2009, she was awarded the O. E. Hasse-Preis for her performance in a student staging of "Lulu".
Heine made her screen debut in the 2010 TV production "Unten Mitte Kinn", and subsequently got a nomination for the Förderpreis Deutscher Film for her portrayal of an acting class student. This was followed by roles in Sönke Wortmann's comedy "Das Hochzeitsvideo" ("The Wedding Tape") and Fabian Möhrke's "Millionen" ("Millions", 2013). Heinze also appeared in the "Tatort" episode "Ohnmacht" (2014), and guest-starred in several TV series, including "Notruf Hafenkante" and "Eichwald, MdB".
After playing an adventurous archeologist in the children's film "Fünf Freunde 4" ("The Famous Five 4", 2015), Lucie Heinze was cast as the female lead in Stefan Krohmer's road movie "Mädchen im Eis" ("Girl On Ice", 2015).
In the next few years, Heinze appeared in a number of television productions. She played the best friend of the main character in Jan Růžička's love story "Ein Lächeln nachts um vier" (2017) and had a leading role in the crime series "Professor T." from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, she appeared again as a busy office manager in the second season of "Eichwald, MdB."
On the big screen, she played a doctoral student who begins an affair with her thesis advisor (Ulrich Tukur) in the comedy "Und wer nimmt den Hund?" ("Lost in Separation", 2019). She was also part of the ensemble of Lena Stahl's mother-son drama "Mein Sohn" ("My Son", 2020). Heinze had a leading role in the acclaimed TV family drama "Eine Liebe später" (2021), as a young mother who falls in love again two years after her husband's death. Director Anika Decker cast her in a leading role in her feature comedy "Liebesdings" ("Love Thing", 2021) as a feminist theater producer who, by necessity, teams up with a vain movie star (Elyas M'Barek).
