Biography
Lars Henning Jung was born in Munich in 1977. From 1996 until 1999, he worked as author and director at different theatres in Würzburg, and following an internship as assistant director at the Ensemble Würzburg in 1999, he became a trainee at the Nauman Film production company in Munich. Between 2000 and 2007, Jung studied film at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. During that time, he completed several shorts, and his graduation feature film "Höhere Gewalt" (2008) garnered several festival awards.
He went on to write scripts for television and directed several commercials. He helmed the made-for-TV thriller "Schreie der Vergessenen" (2011), which won a newcomer award at the Bavarian Television Award, and in 2013, he wrote and directed the web series "Broken Links".
