Biography
Klaus Knoesel was born in 1964 in Erlangen. After studying Theater, he worked as an assistant director in theaters in Berlin and Munich. From 1987-1992, he attended the Academy of Television & Film (HFF/M) in Munich, specializing in directing and producing feature films. He worked on the computer animation of Roland Emmerich"s film "Moon 44". He also directs commercials and video clips. His films include: "Ein Tryptychon von Otto Dix" (short, 1989), co-direction with Holger Neuhaeuser on the films "Star Track - The Next Generation" (short, 1990), "Supermantas raeumen auf - und zwar gruendlich" (1991), "G.E.Z. - er kam aus dem Nichts" (short, 1992), "Die Vorboten Armageddons" (short, 1992) and "High Crusade - Frikassee im Weltraum" (1994), as well as independent direction for "Drei Tage Angst" (TV, 1997), "Doggydog - Eine total verrueckte Hundeentfuehrung" (TV, 1998) and "Rave Macbeth" (2001).
