Biography
Kirstin Fischer, born 1980 in Landshut, attended drama school at Munich’s Schauspielhaus from 2003 to 2006 and subsequently completed several workshops, including seminars in "Method Acting" or in "Camera Acting". During her studies, she already performed in several stage performances, for instance, in a production of "Bunny Hill" at Munich’s Kammerspiele, of "Minna von Barnhelm" at Festspiele Schloss Neersen, or in the role of Mephisto in a production of "Urfaust" at Hoftheater Bergkirchen. After several roles in collegiate short films and a small supporting role in the TV production "Job in Gefahr", Kirstin Fischer made her debut on the movie screen in 2009: In Rudi Gaul’s drama "Das Zimmer im Spiegel" ("The Room in the Mirror"), she played a Jewish woman who hides from the Nazis during the Third Reich.
