Jeremias Meyer, born on September 30, 1999, in Munich, made his on-screen debut in 2009 with a lead role in an episode of the series "Der Bergdoktor." His first film role came in the youth fantasy movie "Die Vampirschwestern" ("The Vampire Sisters", 2012), where he played the English tutor of the titular vampire sisters. He reprised this role in the sequels "Die Vampirschwestern 2 – Fledermäuse im Bauch" ("The Vampire Sisters 2 – Bats in the Belly", 2014) and "Die Vampirschwestern 3 – Reise nach Transsilvanien" ("The Vampire Sisters 3 – Journey to Transylvania", 2016). Alongside these, he took on roles in various TV productions.
In Nicole Weegmann's TV drama "Das Leben danach" (2017), which explores the aftermath of the 2010 Love Parade disaster in Duisburg, Meyer played the son of an expert who becomes the target of a traumatized survivor. In "Winterherz – Tod in einer kalten Nacht" ("Winterheart – Death on a Cold Night", 2018, TV), he had a lead role as a teenager whose death from exposure sends his family into a deep crisis. In the television series "Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo" ("We Children from Bahnhof Zoo", 2021), he was the best friend of the main character. Another lead role followed in the fantasy series "Der Greif" ("The Gryphon", 2023), based on the novel by Wolfgang Hohlbein, despite Meyer never having received formal acting training.
In "Zwischen uns der Fluss" ("L'être humain", 2024), he played the boyfriend of Lena Urzendowsky's main character, and in the family drama "Sonnenplätze" ("Places in the Sun", 2024), he portrayed the younger brother of Julia Windischbauer. He had previously acted under her direction in the road movie "Callas, darling" (2024).
