Biography
Jens Jenson was born in Osnabrueck in 1963 and worked as a photographer at the "Neue Osnabruecker Zeitung" from 1984-1986 before studying German and Philosophy at the University of Bielefeld and at the town"s Academy for Photographic and Film Design. After graduation, he worked as a freelance editor and cameraman for industrial films in Berlin from 1992-1993 and then ran his own TV production company bildpunkt TV from 1993-1996. He set up his Berlin-based company picture & motion Produktions GmbH. His films as director are "Beschreibung eines Kampfes" (short, 1988), "One Hundred" (short, 1991) and "Amerika" (2000). His films as director of photography include the TV reportages "Kunst, Kommerz, Kitsch - Goethe in Weimar", "Frankensteinfestival in Weimar" and "Weltsprache Musik" (1999).
