Biography
Ingo J. Biermann was born in 1978 in Stuttgart. He worked as an assistant director, production manager and writer, and studied Directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin, where he produced and directed several films. His films include: "Walking Among Lilacs and Singing" (short, 2002), "Deep Poll" (2004), "Glass Days" (2006), "Faust. A Tragedy: Part One" (2009), "Nocturne" (doc, 2011), "Nine Women" (doc, 2012), "Black Oyster – a Tour Movie" (doc, 2013), "Voice – Sculpting Sound with Maja Ratkje" (2014), and his feature debut "Nordland" (2014).
